Hey Steve,

That's really too bad. I've got the impression too, that often not everything is working the way it should. But when it *is* working, it seems to be working great. Do you care to elaborate on your problems?

I came across your site after purposely searching on 'drupalvaluehosting complaint'. I was getting frustrated reading all the bad reviews at dvh forums and at Drupal.org.

I'm a dvh customer since May 2008 running two Drupal sites and to date my experiences are more positive than negative. Upon signing up I wrote a post http://prime357.org/node/85 detailing my experience, along the same lines as yours. I've been reading with interest the dvh forums where a lot of complaints were being raised mainly due to lack of communication. It appears the same people were also making their concerns known over at Drupal.org.

What concerns me is that I haven't experienced these issues that are being complained about and in fact I submitted a support ticket a few days ago and it was answered within 12 hours.

In relation to the complaints raised over at Drupal.org I even posted my positive experience http://drupal.org/node/248908#comment-913493 but I reckon it's pointless me following up with counter claims to every complaint that follows, I don't want to be seen as an unbiased commentator other than hoping that dvh doesn't fold.

Some of the claims raised appear to be exaggerated and over the top. One claim in particular that the dvh site down everyday on consecutive days over a month or two period is just plain ridiculous. I can state that as I'm constantly at the dvh site everyday and at different times during the day and haven't experienced that.

Like you, at my site, I've signed up for the affiliate link and to the letter of the law I suppose my comments can be considered biased and also like you I openly admit the affiliate link. For what it's worth, I haven't benefited yet from the affiliate link.
